The Dark Knight has scooped five awards at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
The Batman movie won all the awards it was nominated for. Christian Bale’s Batman and Heath Ledger’s creepy Joker were named the top on-screen match-up.
The Dark Knight was also named favourite movie, as well as favourite superhero and action movie. It also won favourite cast.
“On behalf of all the cast, thank you very much to the fans,” Bale said. Adding: “Here’s to Heath.”
The People’s Choice Awards are voted for online by American fans. The Awards span film, TV and music.
